The Winter Garden.

The winter garden is looking good!

I started the winter garden late this year, so I decided to keep it simple and only use the small box. I managed to cram broccoli, cauliflower and a couple different kinds of kale, mustard greens and cabbage. Hopefully the squirrels don’t eat everything before it’s time to harvest it.

Oh, and I was really surprised and excited to see the first blueberry flowers of the season. Hopefully I’ll get to harvest those before the birds help themselves!

  1. Your garden is so lush; I do love those winter greens! Fall through spring is the best time to garden here in South Mississippi…but our blueberries aren’t blooming yet. ~ Marsha

  2. Your veggies are all looking amazingly healthy and green. Our lettuce just croaked because it was so hot over the last few days but we did get lots of lettuce (thanks to my laziness in removing the extras early on in the piece ;) ). Cheers for sharing :)
